Don Diego de la Bluestem

Diego, a Havanese, joined the staff as a puppy six years ago. Cheerful, friendly & hypo-allergenic, he started out as a simple greeter but quickly worked his way up to a position of authority.

Diego’s breed is of Cuban ancestry, but this fellow is a Nebraska native and loves the snow. His wonderful breeder, who still comes to visit him when she is in Lincoln, is Dee Hinkle, owner of D’Va’s Toys in Grand Island, Nebraska. Don Diego’s regular hours of duty are late afternoons during the week and all day on Saturday.
